Deanston Distillery History

1785	Original buildings were a cotton mill
1965	The cotton mill is renovated, becoming a distillery under Deanston Distillery Co Ltd
1966	Production commenced
1971	First single malt released as "Old Bannockburn"
1972	Purchased by Invergordon Distillers
1972	First "Deanston" single malt released
1982	Silent
1990	Acquired by Burn Stewart Distillers plc
1991	Procuction recommences
2002	CL Financial bought over Burn Stewart Distillers plc
2006	Deanston 30yo released
